Hey Everybody,
Had a great time with Cheryl Arena tonight at Zander's House in Plano. Not a great crowd, but Rob Donavan stopped by for a bite and the first set. Sonny Collie is kicking it on bass, nice to see him back at it. Tomorrow at 6pm I will be down at KNON to help Reverend KM Williams celebrate the release of his new CD 'When I Rise' on Dialtone Records. I played guitar and harp on this one, and it was fun! Tomorrow night I will be in Fort Worth at Mambo's. It is Cadillac's birthday, and Mine is next Tuesday, so we are celebrating both Friday night. Should be a fun time, and I am sure jamming will ensue! Speaking of Mambo's the Monday 'Hash Brown & Friends' lasted over a year, but it is done. Starting in October we move over to the Key's Lounge for 'Hash Brown & Friends' on Tuesday Nights from 8-12.
                                             Saturday will be another busy day. I will be at Whole Foods Market in Plano with the Hash Brown Band from 2-5. Later in the evening the Hash Brown Band with Christian Dozzler will be backing up Big Bill Morganfield at the Denton Blues Festival. I am definitely looking froward to that one! Key's Lounge for the 'Group Therapy Jam' with Cheryl Arena. Gonzy Trevino tells me that Mace Maben will be back at the jam starting next month. Mace survived a bout with lung cancer and it is very good to see him back out, praise God!

Christian Dozzler tells me he just got back from a whirlwind '5 gigs in 4 days' tour of Canada with Robin Banks.
A new club has opened on Storey Lane called Chase 482. Kerrie Lepai is holding down Thursdays and we wish them well.
Aaron Burton has a new 'Delta Acoustic Jam' at The Goat on Tuesdays from 9-1. Each week he features one artist on  a set and then jamming.
At the end of the month from 9/28-10/02 Cheryl Arena and I will be in Clarksdale, MS teaching harmonica at 'Jon Gindick's Harmonica Jam Camp'. harmonica players from around the world gather at this camp at Hopson's and the Shack up INN for a great week of learning Blues Harmonica. This is always major fun!
