I was discussing with TBR member James Zvetina about his pic of the very rare American D5T Mic which had reminded me of one type of Electrovoice 664 of which I had a couple of in the 1960's (I was…Continue

I wanna give a shout out to my new Airline Bighorn guitar.
Great Hubert Sumlin tone, this baby has some sustain too!

I have a couple of shields for my amps. They work well, although I believe tilting the amp is better. I also have drum shields...they work wonders in small venues.

At Antones last night, there was a plexi glass "blast shield" in front of the house blackface Fender Super Reverb and I was very impressed how great it worked. It did not effect the holy tone of the amp at all.
You could hear every note as intended when I played on stage. Best part was in the audience....you did not get that direct ear numbing blast that last long after the show. Has anyone else seen these?
