Seems like the more we play together, the more in sync we become (funny how that works, isn't it?). I especially appreciate the way you watch and listen to what's going on and adjust your playing to support and compliment what the other instruments are doing, and that you do so with taste and subtlety. I know that sounds like a pretty basic thing for an ensemble musician to do, but it's surprising how many people seem to just hammer out their parts without making any effort to weave their parts into the whole of what's going on.

Brent was pretty fun last night too. He always plays well, of course, but it just seemed like everything was clicking last night. I was prepared to be rather bored for the duration, but wound up having a great time. Looking forward to next week.
