Bowlful of Blues II: The Ladies Sing the Blues at Amphitheater at Oak Point Park, Plano

April 4, 2009 from 7pm to 10:30pm

2nd year of popular blues event in Plano's beautiful Amphitheater at Oak Point Park. Powerhouse R&B, soul singer Janiva Magness headlines, with featured guests The Dallas Blues Divas opening the festivities at 7:00 pm. Bring your picnic and your cooler, along with a blanket or lawn chair. Parking is free! This event opens the 2009 Concerts in the Park series presented by Plano Parks and Recreation.

Thanks for your earlier comment about last year's event. People can still bring picnics and coolers, although we will have concessions for sale. Alcohol is permitted for those 21 and older. Blankets and lawn chairs are recommended. For the April concert, also bring a sweater or light jacket. It can get a bit cool later into the evening.
